Flash an Integrated Firmware Image

This section will assist you in flashing a target system with a new Integrated Firmware Image (IFWI).

Hardware Requirements

DediProg

Software Requirements

SF600 Plus Software, which is available in the Download tab

Connect DediProg

Do the following to connect DediProg:

  1. Ensure that both the DediProg and the target system are powered OFF.

  2. Connect the DediProg ISP Cable to the target system.

  3. Connect the DediProg USB to the host PC, and install the software driver.

  4. Power ON the target system.

  5. Open the DediProg Engineering application, and select the correct hardware.

  6. When prompted, select a memory device.

After the steps are complete, the DediProg is ready to flash the target system.

Flash IFWI

Do the following to flash IFWI:

  1. Open DediProg Software.

  2. Click File.

  3. In the Load File popup, click Find, select the IFWI binary file, and click OK.

  4. To write the IFWI to SPI-NOR, click Batch.
